Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista and FOH staff to join our team. If you love creating the perfect cup of coffee and enjoy interacting with customers, we’d love to hear from you!

Hours are as follows:

25-35 hours approx per week. Please send through your availability with your application. Must be available most weekends.

Barista Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages.

– Ensure high-quality and consistency in every cup.

– Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the café.

– Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Barista (2 years ideally as we are doing high volume)

– Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.

– Excellent communication and customer service skills.

– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

– Availability during the specified hours.

FOH Responsibilties:

• Greet and seat customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests are noted

• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally

• Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including resetting tables

• Process payments and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions correctly

• Assist in managing bookings and walk-ins, ensuring smooth table turnover

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials

• Uphold health and safety standards, including food handling and hygiene practices

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner

• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
