Hello, this is Baek Jong-won’s Bornga.
We are located at 153 Elizabeth St, Brisbane.

Bornga is a renowned Korean restaurant group operating over 80 restaurants worldwide. In Australia, we currently have one location in Melbourne and two in Sydney, all successfully running.

1. Positions Available

Stove Cook
Applicants with over one year of Korean cuisine experience are preferred.
Prep Section
Prior cooking experience is not required, but candidates with basic knife skills will be preferred.
We are looking for meticulous individuals who can precisely follow recipes.
Kitchen Hand (Dishwasher)
Experience with commercial dishwashers is preferred.
We seek candidates who can work efficiently and keep up with the kitchen’s workflow.

2. Salary and Employment Conditions

At Baek Jong-won’s Bornga, we comply with the Australian Government’s minimum wage standards. This includes annual leave, superannuation, weekend and public holiday penalties.
During the probationary period, salaries will be based on the introductory level, with formal contracts and appropriate levels assigned after 2-4 weeks.

3. Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday to Sunday:
10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Lunch service on weekdays will be introduced after the restaurant stabilizes.
