Chef/Cook – Breakfast & Lunch (4 Days a Week: Thurs–Sun)

Location: Cedar Bakery Preston
Position: Part-Time (Thursday–Sunday)

Cedar Bakery is a busy Lebanese café known for fresh pastries, quality coffee, and hearty meals. We’re looking for a reliable Chef/Cook to run a smooth breakfast and lunch service.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our Head Chef to prepare and serve a mix of Lebanese-inspired and café-style dishes. The role is 4 days per week (Thursday–Sunday) with early mornings and daytime hours only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook breakfast/lunch menu items
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards
• Assist with prep and ensure freshness and consistency
• Work efficiently during peak service periods

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a chef or cook in a busy kitchen
• Café/breakfast service experience preferred
• Knowledge of Lebanese / Middle Eastern cuisine (preferable not required)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, organised, and able to handle pressure
• Available Thursday–Sunday mornings and lunch shifts
