We are hiring at MOGOM, a Korean restaurant located in Springwood Mall. The restaurant is conveniently situated right in front of the Springwood Bus Station, making it easy to commute via public transportation (direct 555 bus to the city).
We are looking for all-rounders who can assist with simple prep, dishwashing, taking orders, and serving in the dining area. We are seeking individuals who are looking for long-term work. Since most of our customers are foreigners, basic English communication skills would be beneficial. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and we also welcome culinary students and those on student visas. Stay-at-home parents living nearby or junior students who can work after school are also encouraged to apply.
After training (during which a different wage rate applies), you may have the opportunity to work full-time from Monday to Saturday. If you can start work immediately, please get in touch.
Details of the job offer are as follows:
Positions available: Kitchen staff (0 positions), Serving staff (0 positions)
Duties: Kitchen assistance, serving, and customer service
Qualifications: Preferred for candidates with cooking or serving experience
Language: English (required for customer service and order taking)
Required documents: RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is mandatory, Food Safety Certificate (can be obtained online instantly)
Wage: $29.33/hour, $35.19/hour on weekends, with Superannuation; wage increase after 3 months
Employment type: Casual (possibility of transitioning to part-time)
Location: Springwood
Working hours: Morning to evening (flexible hours) 11 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday (Sunday off, 3–4:30 PM break, lunch provided)
Additional: For student visa holders, cash payment is available after exceeding the 24-hour weekly limit.
