Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the barista position at your café. With over three years of experience in fast-paced hospitality environments, I bring a strong combination of technical coffee skills and excellent customer service.
I am confident in preparing espresso-based drinks, steaming milk to various textures, and dialling in grinders to maintain quality under pressure. I’m also experienced with a range of coffee extraction methods beyond espresso, including pour-over, batch brew, and cold brew, giving me the flexibility to support different café styles and menus. I have managed daily volumes of over 20kg of coffee and am comfortable working in high-pressure, high-volume environments.
