All Care Australia is seeking a café Allrounder for our new Café in the CBD of Ipswich.
About the role:
As a café allrounder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure that the café runs smoothly and provides an exceptional customer experience. Some of your key duties will include:
Greeting customers and taking orders – You will be the face of the cafe, so it is essential that you are friendly and welcoming to customers.
Making coffee and other drinks – You will need to be skilled in making a variety of coffee and other hot and cold drinks.
Food preparation – You will also be responsible for preparing food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads.
Cleaning and maintaining the café – Keeping the café clean and tidy is essential to providing a great customer experience.
Collaborating with the team – You will be working as part of a team, so it is important that you are able to collaborate effectively with others.
Overall, as a café allrounder, you will need to be reliable, friendly, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the café runs smoothly and that customers leave feeling satisfied and happy.
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have café experience, present well and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver high-quality café services. They will also possess strong customer service skills and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment. They will have bring:
Previous café / barista experience – essential
Experience in food preparation and handling
POS/cash handling experience essential
Compliance with all aspects of OH&S and Safe Food Handling
The ideal candidate available Monday – Friday between the hours of 6am – 3pm. Please note – weekend hours will be required in the near future.
About Us
All Care Australia Group has opened a café within the Ipswich CBD to provide more for the community then just appetizing food and beverages. The café also offer’s training to the young people in the care of All Care Australia, and/or like minded organizations, where the young people have an interest in developing a career within the hospitality industry.
All Care Australia Group is a community service organisation that is committed to supporting children, young people and the community. Our goal is to provide young people with a sense of family, support to heal, a chance to positively connect with others and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
All Care Australia Group expects our signature meal offerings to be breakfast and lunch, however from time to time there will also be a dinner offering. This will accommodate after hours events and functions.
Our new menu has been designed that offer limited on trend menu options to ensure high quality and efficient service delivery. The café provides quality take-away coffee and on the run meal options for local workers and commuters. Catering options will also be available for companies who are hosting team meetings, conferences, or training events.
