We are searching for the perfect person to assist our head pizza chef in preparing ingredients and producing pizzas. Range Brewing is a small-batch brewery with a focus on design, relaxed vibes, fresh beer and the perfect pizza to accompany it. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a qualified Pizza Chef and learn all aspects of producing authentic Roman Style pizzas. The role is for a full-time position from Wednesday to Sunday. WE WILL BE OFFERING A SIGNING BONUS of $1500 for the successful applicant.
Experience as a pizza maker is necessary, we are looking for a candidate that is interested in the pizza-making process and wants to learn and master the skills required.
Your responsibilities at Range Brewing will involve:
● Assisting with the preparation of slow-rise dough,
● preparing and cooking ingredients to a high level
● cutting, chopping, and slicing veggies, meat and other goods as per the direction
● implementation of cleaning and hygiene processes to meet a very high standard of
cleanliness
● quality control management
● perform other duties as assigned
Your role requires:
● at least 1 years’ experience as a Pizza Maker or Kitchen Hand in a high-volume, fast-paced establishment OR 2 years’ experience working in a kitchen environment
● the production of, and ability to work with hand-stretched dough
● strong knife skills
● ability to use a meat slicer in a safe and efficient manner
● the passion and drive to succeed and produce high-quality dishes
● strong work ethic and attention to detail in all areas of your work
● impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
● ability to work independently as well as be a leader and key member of the food team
● the maintenance of high standards
● an inquisitive mind and a preference for prevention rather than cure
● physical capabilities required for the role include but are not limited to the ability to work in hot and/or humid conditions; extreme heat; ability to frequently lift and/or move 20k’s ; ability to frequently stand for long periods of time
● fluent in spoken English;
