About This Job

My Mistress cafe in clayfield if seeking a breakfast chef (up to 38 hours a week) to join the team.

We’re looking for motivated and teachable cooks who are excited to produce delicious and visually beautiful food.

Cook responsibilities include, stock rotation, ordering, the ability to work autonomously and also efficiently within a team environment. An eye for detail and cleanliness is a must.
We are looking for someone who cooks to a high level of consistency, maintaining an even balance of speed and quality.

To be considered for this role:
2 years cooking experience
Good knife skills
Ability to remain calm and communicate with fellow staff and customers
Excellent time management skills
Experience in a high volume and fast paced environment
Ability to work as part of a team and be able to maintain and run a section
Passionate with a willingness to learn and follow direction
Current australian working rights

Profile

I’m a friendly and reliable student looking for part-time or casual work. I have experience working in cafés and enjoy working in a busy team environment. I’m comfortable with customer service, taking orders, making basic coffee and keeping the workplace clean and organised. I’m a quick learner, punctual and always willing to help.
