Part Time Chef in Spring Hill QLD

The Park Hotel Brisbane is a 4-star boutique hotel conveniently located in Spring Hill, right beside the Brisbane CBD. High on service, character and value, boasting 94 spacious and stylish rooms set against the lush backdrop of Roma Street Parkland.

We are currently seeking a motivated Chef to join our ranks. You are passionate about cooking and would be comfortable in a role that will see you working closely with the community, with demonstrated empath in a sensitive environment. This is an excellent chance to join a friendly, vibrant, dynamic and supportive team environment.

Position Requirements

• To provide, in consultation with management, a rotational menu.
• To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a hygienic manner and meets regulatory health and safety requirements.
• To monitor, record and implement correct Food Safe Handling Procedures.
• To purchase stock as required, in line with service procedure and budget.
• Demonstrate a high level of understanding regarding food handling and cross contamination risks when preparing food for allergies and intolerance’s.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Bulk cooking experience (100 to 120 people) preferred

Preferably Certificate III In Commercial Cookery or other recognised culinary qualifications.

Also suit 4th Year Apprentice, or a person with Cookery experience.
