Hello!I am Mayu from Japan.
I am writing to express my interest in the position of the balista in your cafe.I have no prior experience working at cafes specializing in coffee, but I am attending a 5-week barista course at a school in Brisbane, where I acquired knowledge and skills related to being a barista. With a keen interest in coffee culture and a desire to grow in this field, I am applying for this position. I have experience working at cafes in Japan, where I also provided drip coffee. Additionally, I have worked in various roles for over 3 years in the hospitality industry. Among coffee-related professions, being a barista is the most creative role, requiring precision and adaptability. I believe that the challenges it presents lead to great satisfaction, and although my technical skills may currently be lacking, I am confident in my passion for coffee, which equals that of a professional. Moreover, I am self-assured in my communication abilities and resilience. I promise to approach work with a positive attitude, engaging with customers and contributing to creating a better environment. If you could hire me as a ballista, I try to fit right in your cafe and I will do any works to improve my skill.
