Looking for Kitchenhand (Arana Leagues Club)

About This Job

You will support catering operations by ensuring a clean supply of plates, pots, pans, tools etc.

Arana Leagues Club is a premier recreational venue with 175 poker machines, two eateries, three bars, a bottleshop, function rooms and a kid’s room.

As Kitchenhand you will be required to:

• Sort and wash plates, cups, cutlery and cooking equipment;
• Dispose of rubbish and waste;
• Complete a comprehensive kitchen clean – including all surfaces and a total floor clean at the end of the night;
• Ensure all work areas, cool room, storeroom and rear areas are clean and tidy;
• Receive and sort supplies and deliveries;
• Sort recycling materials.

The successful applicant will have:

• Strong awareness of food safety and hygiene standards;
• Previous experience in a high-volume catering environment;
• A strong work ethic;
• The ability to maintain composure during busy service periods;
• The ability to work cooperatively as part of team.

The ability to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.
