About This Job

Food and beverage catering staff members (Including a kitchen hand position) required for combined front and back of house shifts in our education catering environment in Spring Hill Brisbane.

Shifts available with mostly consistent hours, predominantly working early Monday to Friday, with some occasional evening and weekend shifts available.

Above award rates and consistent hours for applicant.

The job:

Intermediate or above level of english.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Available to work Monday to Friday every week at least 30 hours a week term time
Confidence in your ability to help customers and have excellent service skills
Experience is not necessary as we are willing to train, but reliability, fast on your feet and a positive attitude is a must!
Ability to work both front and back of house in a team environment – serving customers, assisting in the kitchen with basic food prep, cleaning packaging food, etc
Set up and pack down of the cafe and function area following service periods
Handle customer enquiries in a professional manner and with a high standard of customer service
Maintain and follow health, safety and security procedures at all times
Always present yourself in a professional manner while retaining a high regard for personal grooming
Open to learning new skills
Understand the education term time hours, including the down time.
Note: a Blue card is required for this position but can be applied for prior to starting
