Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years experience with Japanese cuisine from Chef De Partie to Junior Sous Chef
Experience as a Sushi Chef in an a la carte restaurant
Experience with a traditional Omakase menu
Excellent knife skills. Ability to expertly cut and fillet
Have a strong understanding of Japanese produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
Japanese language highly regarded
Have passion, enthusiasm, and flair for Japanese Cuisine
