St James College is a progressive Co-Educational Catholic Years 5-12 College in the Edmund Rice tradition offering high quality, award winning, innovative academic and vocational pathways to students, with an emphasis on global learning and achieving aspirations for students from very diverse backgrounds. All applicants are expected to contribute to the ethos and Co-Curricular program of the College.

The College is seeking an experienced Barista for its on-site cafe. The role is 30 hours, 5 days per week and classed as 3.4 wage scale.

The role includes purchasing, food preparation and service, recording of sales and cash handling.

Experience in hospitality training and assessing would be an advantage.

The successful applicant must have a current Blue Card for child-related employment or successfully apply for a Blue Card prior to commencement. All applicants will be subject to EREA and legislative screening procedures. These checks are consistent with EREA’s commitment to child protection policies and procedures.
