Looking for a Production Cook

About This Job

Hello, We are Production Cook, Monday to Friday, East Brisbane

Key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following areas:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Cook food in accordance with the recipes and food safety standards
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar

role and environment, coupled with the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum 6 month experience as a Cook of a similar size and quality venue
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, butchering etc.)
• Ability to work in a team and follow direction
• Familiarity with sanitation and safety regulations
