Looking for a Barista/All Rounder (Pause Menu / Fitzroy)

About This Job

Pause Menu is a Board Game Cafe and Bar, with a focus on community and being a welcoming space for everyone to play games. We are a small team looking to hire a barista to work the espresso machine during our evening hours and to serve alcohol.

We are looking for some with:
– Barista experience
– An RSA
– A people’s person with customer service skills
– Someone who is confident to work the counter solo as there will be times (after training) when that will be required (but there will be managers on the floor).

If you have all the skills and qualities above with an interest in board games and Tabletop RPG, you will be preferenced.

Schedule after training:

-3 shifts a week
Thursday 6:00pm until 9:00pm
Friday 7:00pm until 10:00pm
Saturday 6:00pm until 10:00pm

Hours are set.

We will provide training about the food and beverage products on the job and you will have a month of training before the hours above.

Training schedule (first 4 weeks):
Thursday 6:00pm until 9:00pm
Sunday 1:30pm until 4:30pm

Pay: $26.00 – $36.00 per hour
