Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Barista with a passion for specialty coffee and a proven track record of working in high-volume environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages with precision and consistency. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Barista to showcase their skills and contribute to our café’s success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and cold brew.
Ensure consistent quality in every cup by adhering to our standards and recipes.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering any questions about our coffee offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, equipment, and workspace.
Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product levels.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting fellow team members as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Barista in a high-volume specialty coffee environment is essential.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and alternative brewing methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional coffee experiences.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
