About the role
As a Line Cook you are essential to supporting the successful operation of the kitchen on a daily basis. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Complete of all food preparation, set up and pack down of the kitchen
Provide exceptional kitchen standards to maintain the quality of produce and presentation of all meals
Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock management, daily checklists and cleaning rosters and ensure company compliance of all OH&S/WH&S requirements
Lead By Example by embodying our company’s values and fostering a positive work culture
About you
Passion for Food: appreciation of all aspects of food and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service
Communication Skills: strong communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptability: ability to work in a face-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience: at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role and experience with Italian food is preferred
Positivity: a team player with a willingness to learn and strong work ethic
Flexibility: availability over a 7-day rotating roster; including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
PART-TIME CONTRACTS AVAILABLE (30-35 hours per/wk)
