Kitchen Hand / All rounder Wanted – Japanese Sushi & Hot Food Takeaway

(Yeronga, Brisbane) We are seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team at a busy Japanese sushi and hot food takeaway shop in Yeronga, Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to maintain a great work-life balance while securing a reliable, consistent income stream. Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

·         Experience: Hospitality industry experience in commercial kitchens

·         Duties: Confident with food preparation, dish washing and cleaning. Assist Sushi & meal making. Cashier as required.

·         Efficiency: Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·         Teamwork: A strong team player with an intermediate level of English.

·         Commitment: Looking for a long-term role with a valid working VISA.

Hours & Location:

·         Location: 429 Fairfield Road, Yeronga, QLD 4104 (conveniently located next to Yeronga Station).

·         Shop Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

·         Available Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00-2:00 PM. Detail to be discussed at interview.

·         Work-Life Balance: Closed all weekends and public holidays!

Employment Terms:

·         Type: Casual ($32.18 or higher).

·         Wage: Fully compliant with the Australian Restaurant Industry Award, plus Superannuation.

·         Trial Period: A 2-week paid trial period will be conducted for both parties before finalizing long-term employment.
