Currumbin Village Early Learning is a family-owned private centre with operating hours of 6:45am to 6:15pm Monday to Friday.

The service is managed by KAL Child Care Management and support and training will be provided upon and throughout employment.

A part time position (2-4 days per week) is available for a Kitchen hand/Educator who can do kitchen duties and a couple of hours lunch relief. Shifts will be approx.7.5 hours each and start/finish times are flexible.

Kids Gourmet will be proving the meals, so the ideal candidate will:

• Hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Hold a current blue card
• Have experience ordering and preparing food in a child care setting
• Undertake first aid training with CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• Cater for children with food allergies (risk management)
• Be reliable and hard-working, with the ability to work independently.
• Studying or hold a Cert 3 or Diploma.

Duties include:

• Preparing morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea
• Cutting up fruit, heating and preparing ready-made food
• Placing weekly food order and pantry items
• General cleaning
• Participating in 6 monthly food audits
• Interaction with families and children
• Lunch relief/float
