Our resort-style motel located in Carseldine, North Brisbane, now has an exciting opportunity

available for a Housekeeper to join our team on a long-term basis.

Your next role:

This is your opportunity to join our diverse Housekeeping team as a casual. As a key team member, you will be proudly representing the motel with your friendly and professional service. It will be important to have a keen eye for detail to ensure all rooms are cleaned to our guest’s expectations and standards of the motel.

To be effective in this role you will possess:

·Excellent housekeeping experience

·Exceptional communication skills

·High attention to detail

·Ability to work independently

·Be of a naturally happy and warm personality with integrity and discretion

·Be self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

·You will be cleaning guest rooms and making them sparkle.

·You will be assisting guests with any requests or inquiries they may have.

·You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to recognize reoccurring cleaning issues.

·You will be competent in the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. You will ensure that appropriate tools/equipment are used during the cleaning process.

·You will have a good knowledge of hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.

·You will report any damage or maintenance needed for our rooms.

·You will have a good knowledge of hotel facilities to ensure all guest’s requests are met.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

·A positive, genuine, friendly, and team-focused attitude.

·Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.

·Pride in what you do and a key eye for detail.

·Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting.

·Be open to feedback.

·Impeccable personal presentation and high standard of grooming.

·Flexibility to work varied hours as required, including mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

Award wages: Monday -Friday: $26.15

Saturday: $31.38
Sunday: $36.61
