Birdsville Hotel in remote southwest Queensland is seeking to employ a hotel allrounder with a start date in late March.
The position is initially for 3 months with the possibility of extending.

Birdsville is 1600km west of Brisbane and lies on the edge of the Simpson Desert. Birdsville is well known for large events such as Big Red Bash music festival and The Birdsville Races.
The hotel allrounder position involves working in many areas of the business from working in the bar serving drinks, stocking fridges and cleaning, taking meal orders, delivering meals, clearing tables, helping with dishes in the kitchen and housekeeping.
Barista skills are highly regarded.
We are looking for a happy energetic person who is willing to help where required.

This position will involve split shifts. Accommodation and meals are provided for$120 per week which is taken out of your weekly pay. Accommodation is in a share house with other staff, you have your own private room with double bed.
A current QLD RSA is required. A current food safety certificate is advantageous.
Flights can be arranged from Brisbane for people without a car and if contract is fulfilled a return flight will also be supplied. Birdsville Hotel is across the road from the airport.
We also have room for a caravan and your vehicle if you have your own set up.
The Birdsville Hotel also owns and operates The Birdsville Bakery, there maybe the opportunity to work there also to help in peak trading periods.
