One of Brisbane’s oldest, and still independent, family owned and run Brewpubs is looking for a Sous Chef to help execute on the culinary experience at our Milton site, starting immediately.

We have recently embarked on a new experience for the Milton Brewhouse, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced products, elements produced from scratch and the launch of a brand-new menu. This change in direction see a shake up in the kitchen and we are on the hunt for an energetic and responsible Sous Chef, who can take direction, while balancing initiative to add some exciting flair to the offering.

The Role

Is that of a Sous Chef reporting directly into the Head Chef.
Allows some creative licence and input.
Has a strong focus on work-life balance.

The Candidate

Is a positive, enthusiastic, and creative communicator with a love or understanding of beer and all its nuance or a willingness to learn.
Has strong team building attributes, being someone who can lead junior staff, while also taking direction from the Head Chef.
Is flexible and hardworking, while also being an advocate for healthy balance and downtime.

Salary package from $70,000-$80,000 is available for the right candidate.
