Full Time Barista

Little Black Pug is looking for an experienced Barista to join our team in Mount Gravatt on a casual basis to start with long term contract available for the right candidate.

About us: We are a modern Australian brunch restaurant with a seasonal menu. We have a focus on producing high quality meals with fresh ingredients catering to different dietary requirements, with a particular focus on gluten free items. We are a small and vibrant team. We are after a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. Below are a few requirements for the position.

The job:

1. ~38-40 hours, set roster. Flexible for the right candidate. Preferrably Wed-Sun.

2. Casual rate from $30.1ph – $38 ph to start. Contract possible for the right candidate in time

3. Must have weekend availability

4. Own transport preferred, and be able to start from 6:00AM

5. Have experience working in high volume cafes, 7kg+ alone on the coffee machine

6. Enjoys working with a team

7. Be able to work alone (weekdays) and in a team (weekends)

8. Must be able to consistently produce high quality coffee, including latte art

9. Enjoys getting to know regulars, and new customers alike as we are very customer focused

10. Table service experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Casual

Salary: $30.10 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
