Who is Australian Camp Services (ACS)?
Australian Camp Services (ACS) provides quality and nutritious catering, cleaning and management support services to remote camps for the mining, oil, gas and construction industries nationally. We are also dynamic enough to respond to external changes quickly.
Point of Hire: Brisbane, QLD
This role calls for experienced ‘All-rounder’ Utilities’.
- Housekeeping- cleaning of rooms, common areas (wetmess, gyms etc), offices, site cleaning, sanitizing
- Laundry – washing of linen and towels.
- Kitchen Hand duties- cleaning the dining area, food preparation, washing dishes, top up food and mess supplies.
- Mine Site Cleaning – Cleaning offices, change rooms, toilets, crib rooms
- Serving in bar/wetmess
What are we seeking?
- Proven experience in Housekeeping and cleaning.
- Current license (Manual Car Licence) – Mandatory
- Construction White Card- Mandatory
- Food Safety Certificate – Mandatory
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate – Desired
- National Police Clearance (NPC) – not more than 6 months old
- To be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality
Successful applicants will have previous cleaning and hospitality experience in a professional setting and excel in customer service.
