Fgdolls hair is looking for a hairdresser to work with us.
We are located in the West End of the city within easy walking distance to work.
Our clientele is mostly local and young.
If you have only worked in salons with mostly Asian clients, this is a great opportunity to experience a new challenge with a different clientele.
We also have quite a few perm customers, so it’s easy to secure regular customers.
Previous experience in a local salon is preferred.
If you are coming to Australia on a working holiday, you can learn English and local skills in our shop, which is close to a local salon. We are confident that your time in Australia will be well spent.
There are a lot of salons hiring right now, but it’s important to think about your purpose in coming to Australia and your values.

If you find it difficult to communicate with the local clientele, we can help you learn how to communicate in English.
We have color training, design training, and service training every week.
The owner and staff are all Korean, so they understand how difficult it is for our customers to communicate with us. We’re here to help. You don’t have to worry too much.
We will teach you techniques, but most importantly, we will focus on a complete understanding of coloring and the correct use of chemicals.
We can also train you in local premium barbering on request (tapering/razor shave) if needed.
All in-house training is provided free of charge to all designers working at Fgdoll.
We also provide free ramen noodles, coffee, and snacks for lunch or snacks, so we strive to create an environment that is conducive to working.
Our store is open 5 days a week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We work from 10 to 6 on weekdays
Saturdays from 9 to 4 (usually closing at 4:30)
We are closed every Wednesday and Sunday. All holidays are also off.
Weekly pay is 50% of sales as an incentive.
If sales are too slow or the store is quiet, we’ll pay you a casual hourly rate (the store is rarely quiet)
If you have a visa that allows you to work for more than one year, the incentive is higher (up to 55%).

During working hours, you won’t be able to interact much with each other as we are mostly with customers.
We try to make the working environment as comfortable as possible.
*All salons in the Brisbane area are open to sponsor visas and even permanent resident visas.
However, there are not many places where you can work consistently and for a long time.
