Fashion Production Assistant

Fixed-Term Contract from June 2024 – January 2025 – Full-time hours

Capalaba, QLD (Brisbane)

Base salary: $47,575

Sylvia P Group is currently hiring Production Assistants to join any of your preferred departments listed below:

Heat Press Embellishment Applicator Team
Fabric Cutting Team
Gluing Team

These positions will be fixed-term contract until approximately end of January 2025, with the possibility of a permanent role, although cannot be guaranteed at this early stage.

1. Heat Press Embellishment Applicator

Operate a heat press machine
Applying sparkling crystals to our garments
Create the extra bling that our customers love!

2. Fabric Cutting

Use an automated cutting machine called Pathfinder. Manual fabric cutting when needed
Laying up our beautiful and high quality fabrics
Off-loading cut panels, sorting and distribute throughout our factories

3. Applique Technician (Gluing)

Using a gluing spray to apply fabrics to one another based on template supplied
Following instructions outlined on the job ticket
