Factory and Office Cleaner – Casual

Farmers Choice Meats is a family-owned wholesale meat distribution company and processor, specialising in Pork and Beef. Due to growth within our business, we are currently seeking an experienced Factory & Office Cleaner on a casual basis for an immediate start in Ipswich, with full time employment for the right candidate after a trial period. The position is Monday to Friday.

We are after a hardworking candidate with the following essential skills / attributes:

• Good communication skills
• Experience with HACCP and Food Health & Safety compliance & standards
• Ability to adhere to all cleaning processes and procedures
• Able to follow production schedule and liaise with supervisor/management
• Knowledge of MSD sheets and safe use of chemicals –
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Strong work ethic with a ‘can do’ positive attitude
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of safety and quality standards and the ability to complete QA documentation

Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning and sanitising beef and pork production areas and equipment,
• Cleaning of chillers
• Washroom duties,
• General housekeeping,
• Cleaning & tidying of lunchrooms, offices and toilets,
