Award winning Thai Restaurant in Springwood, Queensland, is on the hunt for an experienced cook to join our amazing and hardworking team.

$58k+ per annum

We are seeking for an experienced and talented cook who has the passion and ability to lead our team to provide our guests with a superior dining experience.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the paring & cooking our amazing food with attention to detail and quality of food

• Cleaning and maintaining high standard of hygiene through the kitchen area to meet Health Department requirements
• Willing to learn and work hard to your ability
• Must have experience in Asian cooking or understand the basics of Asian cooking with a minimum of 2 years
• Being able to work under pressure and be part of the team

Successful candidates must possess the following:

• Completed Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or higher
• Efficient communication in English
• Passion for creating high quality food
• Excellent presentation and personal hygiene
• Hands-on experience with food handling and with a “Can Do” attitude
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Apprehend and practice high standard of food health and safety handling
• Flexible availability with ability to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
