Ed on Edward is currently looking for a Barista/server to join our team! We are located in the Brisbane CBD, and are passionate about serving great coffee with a smile to our regular customer base. The position is casual starting at 7am and finishing 12:30pm-1pm with the occasional later finish.

We are a 50 seated café/restaurant serving counter service all day brunch, in a relaxed environment for our dine in customers, as well as speedy and delicious grab and go menu and toastie takeaway menu to our corporate guests on the run. We serve Toby’s estate coffee – equipment is3 group Slayer, 2 x Mahlkonig grinders (1 x EK) and puqpress. We also have a Wally milk frother.

All applicants are encouraged to have the following:
2 x years in high volume coffee making
Knowledge of changing grind, cleaning grinders and coffee machine, dosage changing etc
Consistent milk and latte art with good speed and quality
Good work ethic and reliability
General love for coffee making and delivering service with a smile
Good communication
Eye for detail and self motivated

Tasks for the position include:
Keeping up with high volume coffee making during peak hours
Taking orders
Making smoothies, cooking up toasties
Helping team with Clearing tables, restocking and general keeping service area and cafe clean
Opening the venue and keeping on top of cold brew and cold drip stock levels
