About This Job

As part of our successful Hotel Services team with Bolton Clarke Fernhill in Caboolture, your role as Cook will ensure our aged care residents are provided with high quality, nutritious meals. Duties include:

• Taking direction from the Chef Manager
• Assisting with cooking high quality, nutritious meals for our senior residents
• Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar
• Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care or a hospital preferable
• Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
• Experience with texture modified food advantageous
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
• 2022 Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
