About Us

The Courthouse is an iconic restaurant in Redland City with an outstanding reputation for quality and consistency across decades. We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated & talented Chef to help us preserve the history and memories that have been created. We honour white cloth dining traditions and have valued our stunning premises, our dedicated team and the strong following we continue to receive. A-la-Carte dining and the Weddings & Functions we host are of the highest calibre.

We currently trade Wednesday to Sunday. We will consider expanding these hours as we grow & develop our team.

About You

You are professional & immaculate, highly organised and don’t accept sub par quality or performance. Working in a strong team is important to you, as is an employer who values your contribution and can restore respect for your skills and experience. Some life balance and flexibility is also very important to you. You are calm & capable and enjoy collaborating with the service team to produce outstanding experiences for our guests and our operation.

About the Relationship

Qualifications & experience

Qualified for minimum 5 years in high level restaurant service
Chef de Partie level, or
Sous Chef level

Tasks & responsibilities

Support Head Chef & Kitchen Manager as required
Monitor Prep Quality & Consistency
Mentor & Support Apprentices
Highly Organised & Efficient during Service
Clean & Hygienic personal presentation and work standards
Professional & Respectful Conduct
