The Opportunity 

We believe this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Demi Chef. Someone with a passion for cooking and wants to contribute ideas for our seasonal menus and ideas for our specials.

The kitchen is responsible for producing high quality meals for all guests dining our Food & Beverage venues, including Casual Dining, Member Dining Room and our Events.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Demi Chef to join our culinary team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

• Prior experience working with a small team
• Experience in a range of different cooking styles and preparation techniques is essential
• A genuine passion for cooking, self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
• Must also be available to work a rotating roster, including nights.
• Strong knowledge of the production of a la carte.
• Good knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
• A genuine interest in and knowledge of food and current trends
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of workplace, health and safety procedures in a kitchen
• Knowledge of HACCP and BCC procedures in regard to food, health and safety procedures
• High level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence
