Catering Assistant

About This Job

We are seeking a Catering Assistant for a casual role at our Brisbane site (school in Toowong, Brisbane.

Flexible working arrangements/rosters 

Pay: $30 per hour 

Specific duties will include:

• Assisting in food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining excellent customer service
• Assisting in receiving and storing deliveries in appropriate storage areas
• Performing general cleaning tasks such as washing dishes and garbage disposal
• Assisting with catering events and front-of-house presentation

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working in a food environment (such as a production line, kitchen, or catering), and be comfortable working efficiently. You should be physically capable and have an understanding of food safety.

You should be punctual, reliable, and well-organized to excel in this role. You should have a positive attitude and good personal hygiene.

Requirements: 

Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to acquire one)
