About our Cannon Hill Centre
Edge Early Learning Cannon Hill has gone through a recent transformation and is buzzing with energy under the new leadership team. Edge Early Learning Cannon Hill Childcare and Kindergarten is a modern purpose-built centre which is conveniently located on Andrews Street just a 2 minute walk from the Train Station.
Providing quality care and education to the Cannon Hill community, the custom designed centre has 8 classrooms, each filled with state-of-the-art resources tailored to age groups ranging from 6 weeks to school age. The outdoor learning spaces have been designed around native Australian flora with areas for children to congregate and play as they develop their social skills.
Are you our next Cannon Hill Team Member
You will be responsible for the preparation of healthy and nutritious meals for all of the children within the centre as well as routine cleaning, stocktake and meeting all the requirements of our Food Safety Program.
While all our food is catered fresh daily by an external company to ensure that we are meeting the diverse dietary needs of the children within our service; our Cook is responsible for ensuring the safe and hygienic preparation of all foods within our new commercial kitchen.
Our successful candidate will work Monday to Friday (school hours).
To be considered for a role, you will enjoy forming ongoing professional relationships with children, families and team members, as well as hold:
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Current Blue Card.
Understanding of early childhood nutrition, dietary guidelines, health and hygiene of a kitchen as per regulatory and company guidelines.
Ability to complete all Food Safety Supervisor Paperwork.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to attend online training).
