Cafe Kendricks is looking for an all-rounder barista!

We’re located at the Barracks Shopping Center, offering specialty coffee from Zest, pre-made sandwiches, and baked goods.

What we value:

Must be able to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to cover one of our barista’s school days. We prefer a set roster each week to ensure consistent schedules.
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a barista (including opening and closing duties).
Confidence behind the coffee machine.
Attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
A can-do attitude.
Food handling experience (making sandwiches, baking, etc.).

What we offer:

20-30 hours per week (depending on your availability and ability).
Regular coffee training from national cup tasters and consistent training support from bean providers.
Meal provided.
50% discount at sister restaurants.
Job type: casual or part-time.
Salary: $21.83 – $36.33 per hour.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $22.17 – $36.81 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Experience:

• Barista: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food handling: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
