Cafe Attendant

About This Job

Brookland Robertson is seeking a friendly, well-presented and diligent Café Attendant (with Barista skills) to join our Retirement community on a casual basis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our café within our beautiful village. Not only will you need to be skilled in café service duties, but it is very important for our team and residents, that you have an ability to liaise with people from all walks of life. Essentially, it is a customer service role and you must be approachable and patient, yet efficient in the tasks required of you each day. Working within a small team of great people, you will ensure the residents are served well presented food and beverages in an efficient and safe manner. This role would suit a proactive person who enjoys working within a team environment, yet is able to focus and work independently on tasks.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Barista skills and experience
• Food safety knowledge and training
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cash handling skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
