Café All Rounder/Barista

Terra Firma Bistro in Brisbane City is hiring for a Barista/Café all rounder – immediate start.
Part time/Casual 35 hours per week

About us
At our corporate style café situated in the CBD, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh & healthy gourmet lunch and breakfast, outstanding service and of course, exceptional coffee. We operate Monday to Friday – NO WEEKENDS, No nights or Public Holidays!

The role
As part of our team, your role will include:
– making coffee
– counter service
– toasting & making sandwiches & wraps
– running food and beverage
– restocking
– opening and closing of café

About you
To be successful in this role, you must:
– have prior experience in a busy café environment
– have experience making a high volume of coffee (latte experience NOT necessary)
– have strong communication skills
– be comfortable taking orders from the counter
– possess a positive work attitude
– be customer focused
– be well presented
