Our Thorneside cafe overlooks Beth Boyd Park with views across Moreton Bay. Open 7 days 6am-5pm, we serve brunch, lunch, a sweet selection and more… and of course great coffee! We pride ourselves on fresh seasonal dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients and excellent service for our local community.

About the Role

We’re looking for energetic barista’s and front of house staff with experience to join our team. You must have the highest standards for customer service, and you’ll need to be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and keeps smiling! This is a casual role that requires an immediate start.

Skills and attributes:

Experience in Front of House
Barista training or experience
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with staff and customers
Excellent presentation
Patience and a positive attitude
Ability to think on your feet, use initiative, problem-solve, multi-task
Weekend availability is required

Profile

I’m a friendly and reliable student looking for part-time or casual work. I have experience working in cafés and enjoy working in a busy team environment. I’m comfortable with customer service, taking orders, making basic coffee and keeping the workplace clean and organised. I’m a quick learner, punctual and always willing to help.
