Barista/FOH

Kuhl-Cher Coffee, located in Bowen Hills, is a vibrant cafe looking for passionate and experienced baristas and front of house (FOH) members to join our amazing team!

Requirements:

• minimum 2 years experiences as a barista
• minimum 1-2 years experience as a FOH member

Our ideal candidate:

• detail-orientated with strong multitasking skills
• a team player with excellent communication skillswilling
• to take direction and adapt to the needs of the business

Common duties for both floor staff and baristas:

• greeting and seating customers
• taking orders
• running food and drinks
• making smoothies, milkshakes and juices
• cleaning and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
• taking direction and following instructions from management

Additional duties for baristas:

• setting up the coffee machine
• setting up and adjusting the grinder
• diagnosing and perfecting coffee shots
• making cold drip and batch brew
• educating clients on coffee offerings and preparation methodspa
• ckaging and selling retail coffee

Roles may include, but not limited to:

• maintaining stock and inventory levels
• handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
