L’Americano Espresso Bar at the Coco Republic showroom, in Fortitude Valley are looking for an experienced Barista – All Rounder to join the team. This cafe combines Coco Republic’s signature American design aesthetic with an Italian heritage. We are open 7 days a week, an Italian influenced breakfast and lunch menu as well as also holding occasional functions.

The Role

Make coffee and tea to a high quality and appearance
Continuously deliver informative, professional service
Take orders and enter in POS
Provide a high-quality service to guests
Work as an integral part of the front of house team; running food, clearing tables making and running drinks
Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff members
A la carte service
Ensure standards of excellence are achieved regarding customer service, staff presentation and grooming
Casual position

About You

Passionate about customer service, experienced and motivated about working in a fast-paced busy environment
2-3 years solid Barista experience
Exceptional knowledge and passion in making all types of espresso coffee
Ability to dial in grinders, maintain consistency with latte art and ability to work confidently on your own during a busy burst.
A La Carte waitperson experience
A team player who can work independently
Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Hold valid QLD RSA
Valid full time working rights in Australia
