Barista/All Rounder – City based Cafe’

Big Salads Espresso is looking for additional superstar barista/all rounders to join their team in preparation for the start of the uni semester 2024! We are based in QUT Gardens Point campus in Z Block.

We have multiple positions available for anywhere between 8 – 38 hours per week Monday – Friday only. We trade between 7 – 5pm (M-Th & till 4pm on Friday) during semester so have a some flexibility available if you are looking to only work 9 – 5pm daily.

A little about the role: Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in coffee. Our coffee trade in the new location has grown hugely so if you have previous coffee making experience this is definitely a plus. Besides coffee making you will be required to help with food prep, make salads and sandwiches, Mexican food (Burritos & Tacos) and assist with the clean up at the end of the day. Our catering business is starting to ramp up and the successful candidates will be involved with this also.

A little about you: Ideally you will be hard-working, reliable and good under pressure. Like to have a joke and get stuck into the cleaning when the day’s rushes are over.
