About the role 

We are looking for an experienced coffee enthusiast who is passionate about preparing a quality barista grade service. As part of the complementary service offered to staff and guests, the In-House Barista will also provide corporate hospitality and a positive experience with speed, accuracy and a smile.   We offer regular hours across Monday to Friday, in a secure industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome on-site visitors with a friendly smile and attitude.
• Greet guests and staff, share product knowledge and accept orders for free barista made coffee / beverages.
• Serve across various function spaces within the facility.
• Maintain inventories across barista and hospitality related stock and equipment, including but not limited to coffee beans, refreshments, sanitising equipment and crockery.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of all coffee making facilities and machines and adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment, this includes assisting the operations team as required with in-house functions and events.

Experience / Qualifications / Key Skills 

• Barista or wait staff with food and beverage preparation or customer service experience is essential.
• Willingness to continue to learn about food and beverage preparations.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, while supporting an action oriented and highly organised role, you will also be able to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Polite and engaging personality.

• High attention to detail.

General Requirements

• Drivers Licence.
• Firearms Licence or the ability to obtain one, NIOA will provide.
• BASELINE security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, NIOA will provide.
