Your Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has worked previously in the Cleaning Industry. Being pedantic about customer service, enjoys accountability, understands the importance of budgets, team management and demonstrates exceptional communication and organisational skills. This position will look after the Northern Brisbane region and is the perfect role to join the SPS Facilities Crew.

This is a hands-on role and does not fit into a typical 9 – 5 working day, with no 2 days ever the same. Your working hours are flexible, and you will be required to work outside of standard business hours regularly and sometimes at short notice. Your time management skills will be critical to your success in this role. Taking a hands-on approach and working alongside your cleaning teams will see you gain a great understanding of your team dynamic and challenges. Taking initiative, planning, and creating a formidable team will see you advance your career with an industry leading organisation. Enjoying the support of our area experts, you will not be alone in managing your teams and will have the full support of every area of the business.

The position reports directly to the Qld State Manager and you will enjoy your home base on Brisbane’s inner North, offering plenty of on-site parking and brand-new facilities.

• Key Areas and Responsibilities include:
• Understanding client contractual responsibilities.
• Effective management of multi-site locations and teams.
• Promoting and adhering to Occupational Health and Safety practices and initiatives.
• Managing the provision of service delivery through effective Human Resource Management, Training, Rostering, and ordering.
• Communicating with current clients to perform cleaning audits and assess and ensure client satisfaction.
• Meet operational/labour budgets.
• Timesheet management and approval.

Skills and Experience:
You must have previous experience within the Contract Cleaning Industry. Your exceptional communication skills will see you able to effectively communicate across all mediums, with clients (both internal and external), your cleaning team and suppliers. Ideally you will possess the following skills:

• Must be a critical thinker and be able to problem solve under pressure.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Effective relationship building skills.
• Conflict Management and dispute resolution.
• Management of staff across multiple sites and geographic locations.
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as a productive member of the group.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite of products) is essential, especially Outlook, Excel and Word requiring an intermediate level requirement.
